The 2026 China–ASEAN Entrepreneurs Summit officially commenced on 1 September 2026 at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, Cambodia.
Dato’ Prof. Dr. Albert, President of the APC, and Prof. Dr. Adam Secretary General of APC, were invited to attend the summit. They joined government representatives, business leaders and entrepreneurs from China, Cambodia and other ASEAN countries to exchange insights into regional economic trends and investment opportunities.
The summit brought together nearly 100 government and business representatives for discussions on regional investment, industrial development, capital cooperation and business internationalisation. It also provided a valuable platform for strengthening connections and facilitating resource collaboration among enterprises from China and ASEAN.
H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary-General of the Cambodian Investment Board under the Council for the Development of Cambodia, attended the summit and delivered a keynote address.

He highlighted that amid an increasingly complex global environment and the ongoing restructuring of international supply chains, all parties should fully utilise the summit as a platform to deepen China–ASEAN and Cambodia–China economic cooperation, while transforming business discussions into tangible investment outcomes.
Cambodia welcomes foreign investments that not only establish operations and create employment opportunities but also contribute to technology transfer, professional talent development and greater value creation within local supply chains.
To attract more sustainable and meaningful long-term investments, the Cambodian Government is continuing to improve the country’s business environment. Key initiatives include reducing logistics and operating costs, enhancing single-window services, digitalising investment registration processes and strengthening efforts to combat cybercrime.
The Cambodian Investment Board also reaffirmed its commitment to providing investors with comprehensive services and support throughout their investment journey. Businesses are encouraged to consider Cambodia as a strategic base from which to expand into ASEAN and global markets.
During the summit, the APC delegation actively engaged with government officials, business leaders and corporate representatives from various countries. The discussions provided valuable insights into Cambodia’s investment policies, industrial development priorities and emerging market trends, while opening possibilities for future cooperation in business networking, brand development, resource matching and cross-border collaboration.

APC’s participation further strengthened its connections with the government and business communities of China, Cambodia and the wider ASEAN region. It also created broader channels for APC members to understand regional markets, access international resources and explore new business opportunities.
Moving forward, APC will continue to serve as a bridge connecting enterprises with regional and international opportunities. Through international forums, business missions, corporate exchanges and resource-matching initiatives, APC remains committed to helping businesses understand regional developments and fostering meaningful cross-border collaboration across ASEAN.
